A single day
So we are going to talk about a single day in the life of a mother who deals with a lot of stuff. Lets start off with an introduction, My name is Suzie and I am a wife and a mother of two children. My son is 10 years old and I'm learning to deal with his moods. It is not an easy task at times. My daughter is 7 year old and she was born spina bifida. Most people do not understand the challenges that I have to go through. I am just recently married. I got married to my wonderful husband on mothers day of last year. We have an amasing marriage so far. I love to read and write and I also do diamond paintings. I have back issues that the doctors are trying to figure out. I love to walk and sit outside in the summer time. I love watching the kids play outside and have a great time. We also do a lot of cook outs and grill in the summer. So that is a little bit about me and my family.
Today was an off day because my daughter woke up without a voice. So she did not go to school today due to the fact that she was sick. We didn't really get out of bed until late today. Once we got up it was time for everyone to take their medicine for the day. Then I looked around the house and decided I better start cleaning up. The first thing I had to do was change my daughter and do a catheter. Then I took her upstairs for her bath. While she was in the tub playing in the bubbles, I was getting her night time catheter supplies ready to take downstairs so I had them for later. Then I grabbed a tote bag and filled it with regular catheters to take down and put in the box for later. Once my daughter was ready I went in and finished her bath and got her dried off and dressed. Then I went back downstairs to start folding the laundry. My husband had already started folding the clothes so I basically just helped him finish it. Once that was done then I went into music mode. I put my headphones in and started listening to music so I could start doing the dishes and making tea. Once all my work was done I got to sit down and take a rest. I only had like a 10 minute break because it was then time to do my daughters next catheter. We have to do them every two hours. So today was a mellow calm day. I still have to go around the house and pick up all the pots and pans that my daughter was using to pretend cook with. Other than that I get to rest and relax the rest of the night. Besides the kids fighting back and forth like normal kids do. Most of my daily tasks are done for today and tomorrow starts a new adventure in the life of Suzie. The rest of the night is just getting the kids ready for bed and waking my husband up for work.
Why does it seem like tik tok rules some peoples lives? I don't know if I will ever understand it.
